Songs for Children (Book 1)

This song cycle is comprised of short works written specifically for children. Begun with some early sketch around 1974, numbers were added from time to time over the ensuing decades. After being asked recently once to arrange a collection of children’s songs for a voice professor, I made these into a little cycle. There is no great music to be found in these, but they were written for sheer enjoyment and to appeal to the youthful ear. The score is available from Wolfhead Music.
