Piano
After suffering hand injury in 2002, Mr. Craton stopped taking new piano students for a time. However, due to increasing demand, he resumed accepting students for piano in October 2006. While his performance technique is not what it once was, his ability to teach has been only minimally affected. Students interested in piano lessons may contact him regarding lessons. Mr. Craton studied piano under Louis Culver and Ouida Susie Francis, and some of his students have received gold medals in statewide contests.
Lessons are available at $20 a half hour or $40 an hour. Lessons focus on basic piano technique and involve various studies and solos suitable for the technical level of each student. To inquire about signing up for lessons, click here.
